Avoiding avalanches

I opened my reading inbox this morning and was met by an avalanche.

I subscribe to a lot of cybersecurity news channels, and it turns out there is a TON of that going on right now.

I heard a quote the other day on a podcast that said there is an infinite number of things you can spend your time on, and it's as important or even more important to decide what you will not work on as what you will work on.

Guess what? I'm not reading news about cybersecurity company mergers. I'm not reading about cyberattacks in Russia and Israel (those sound like day-job problems). What I am reading about is stuff that directly applies to chiropractors and small medical practices who want to be the best.

Scope creep is a thing you have to fight every day, but it's worth it for your sanity and important for excellence.

What are you not doing today?
